Holy heat batman.....

It is as us new englanders would call a wicked scorcha out there!  The temp is 100 with a heat index of 110! That is too hot for me to be outside, I am inside sucking up the a/c instead.  I found out my business cards will be here sometime next week.  For now I will post a couple of new pics that I took this past wednesday.  Maybe I will get later on when it maybe cools down.

Well I checked the status of my business cards and found out they were shipped out.  WooHoo!!! I hope they come in soon like either tomorrow or friday.

I finally....

I have not taken any new pics recently.  I plan getting some this week.  On another note I finally ordered business cards and I made up a flyer with the little pull off tabs.  I'm hoping to get some business. 

My new project...

I am going to be doing a new project come the beginning of August.  I am going to do one of those 365 projects, take a pic a day for 365 days.  I am going to have it run Aug. 2011-Aug. 2012.  I was going to wait until the new year but that is still a long way away.  This should be a fun and exciting project.  I may even turn it into a DVD slideshow. 

Ahh another Friday...

Ahh another Friday in the books.  I have a few new pics to post.  There is one of some beetle that I have never seen before and it was huge, it was almost the size of my thumb!! Another is a pic of a leaf that looks like a devil head and my friend ripped a face into it and last there is a really cool shot that I took by placing the camera on the side of a tree and getting a cool POV.

I have in hiding... somewhat

I have not forgot about my blog.  I have been busy with all kinds of things.  I recently just got my first photography gig.  I am going to be shooting for a metal band out of the boston area. They are playing an all day metal fest in august.  i am so pumped for that, my first big taste of what a concert looks like from the other side of the barricade and to be shooting for a metal band on stage.  With that out of the way,  i have a few pics to post one is of a fountain and the other is my first attempt at taking a pic of the moon. 

Monday June 27th....

Its another manic Monday in my world.  I had posted yesterday that I was going to post some new pics and here they are.  One is a macro shot of a smirnoff ice bottle, some kind of caterpillar, and of a crane from the Buttonwood Park Zoo.

The last Sunday of June...

Well it's the last Sunday of June. Yesterday was the homecoming fair here in Fairhaven, I think I am going to put a stand up next year and sell my photos.  There was like 4 or 5 stands selling photos.  I figure if I do it and try to under cut the competition I can make some money.  I printed out of one my photos and put it an 11x14 frame that was matted to 8x10. I am going to post it online and see if anyone is interested in purchasing it.  I have some new pics that I will be putting up later on today or tomorrow.

It's Friday....

It's Friday the 17th of June, I have been way off course on keeping up with this blog.  I do have a few new pics to post.  The pics are of Fort Phoenix and a nice retro Ford T-Bird.

I'm back after a few days away.  I kinda missed it. lol  I have a couple pics to post, one  is a sunset taken on Popes island looking northwest, and the other I like to call the soul of a campfire.

Friday...

It's the first Friday of June. Nothing much going on on my end still just fighting the depression battle.  I am posting a pic that I took back in April it's of a tulip that I edited to black and white and left the flower in color.

 

The first hump day of June...

It's Wednesday and that means hump day.  It's the first one of June, it's kinda gloomy out.  I went to go get an ice coffee and shoot a few pics. They are of the Fairhaven-New Bedford hurricane barrier, Fort Phoenix, a pretty ironic boat name and the Unitarian church. 

The last tuesday of the month....

It's the last Tuesday of May.  I picked up a new(used) 70-300mm zoom lens for the camera this past weekend.  I got some good pics with it, I will post them once my computer is done backing up.  Stay tuned...

It's monday...

It's monday and that means another week.  I can't believe that May is already over.  I have a few pics that I will post later once I have them edited.  I just recently(meaning yesterday) picked a 70-300mm zoom lens for the camera now I should be able to get some good shots.  I need to get to bed got a busy day in the morning, gotta get things ready for my daughters b-day party.  Stay tuned for the pics...

The last saturday of the month of May...

Well this the last Saturday of the month of May.  I took a few pics yesterday, I had a bad day with my battle of depression.  I ended up spending like 4 hours in the ER, I feel a little better but still a little under the weather.  Taking pics helps me with this.  The few pics I'm posting are of the those "punks" that are supposed to keep the mosquitoes away.  I'm also posting a pic that I took at my in-laws house, the camera was on a mono pod that was fully extended to 5 and a half feet.  Altogether the camera was roughly 11 feet in the air.  This makes for some interesting vantage points.  I hope to get some really interesting pics like this.  So here are the pics and I should have more up either tomorrow or Monday. 

Another hump day down...

Well it's another hump day down and I started my new job today. It was a long day for me after being out of work for like 6 months. I'm hoping I can get a decent schedule so I can keep taking photos. I'm hoping to get few tomorrow since it won't be a long day at work. Stay tuned everybody same bat time same bat channel.

It's Tuesday, I figured I would take a day off yesterday.  Today I only got one pic to post. I was at pope park in Acushnet with the kids and I was on  the swings and took this pic and then edited it to make it look like I was flying. 

Sunday Sunday Sunday....

I'm back after a day away from the computer.  Yesterday was a great day, weather wise and family wise.  We went to a little carnival type thing at Rogers school down the street from us and then we went to the 5th annual aviation fun day at the New Bedford regional airport.  I'm posting some pics from the airport.
